# How can I upgrade the privileges on my account?

## Reach out to one of your school's admin users if your account is set up incorrectly.

If you're struggling to add a new test, edit the details of your class or access analysis tools, it will likely be due to the permissions on your account. Only **School Admins** or **Subject Leaders** are able to uses features such as those above, with a full list of access differences between account types available on this article:

School Admins are able to update any account's permissions, whereas Subject Leaders are able to upgrade teachers to leaders of their same subject. It is very simple to upgrade an account's permissions via the 'Staff' tab; this article provides insight on how to do this:
