How to add classes to Pupil Progress

This article will walk you through the options you have to set up your classes on your school's account.

How can I set up my classes?

If you're a Leader or School Admin, you'll see the blue button to Add New Class. You can then choose from a few options to set these up:

  1. Using XLS file
    This option will require you to use our template Excel file to include all the information necessary to set up your classes. You can use this to upload more than one class at once, as long as the classes you're uploading are taking the same qualification. Please read the instructions carefully and fill in any mandatory field in the template before uploading.

  2. Using existing students
    Once you have students registered in your school's general students list, you can choose this option to manually select your students within the system. If you wish to use this option but currently don't have students live, see this article to upload your students list first - Adding students to your school

  3. Let us upload it for you
    You can send your class lists to us and we'll take care of them in 24-48 hours for you.

If Pupil Progress is integrated with your school's MIS (SIMS, Arbor, iSAMS etc) then you will also have the option to add a synchronised classlist - follow the link below for more info on how to do this:

The qualification I need is not listed - what do I do?

If the qualification you're looking for is not present in the list, it means we are yet to build the tracker for it. Don't hesitate to get in touch to let us know which qualification you're looking to have access to, and we'll strive to setup the required tracker for you soon.
